Hi Chrony users,

Does anyone tried using Chrony on Android platforms?
Can someone share the issues faced / learnings to integrate Chrony alongside the existing Android infrastructure?

I have not tried it, but I'm wondering how well it would actually
work if it was possible to build/run it on Android. chronyd as
currently implemented does not like to be frequently suspended. It
will throw away all data when it detects the clock has jumped forward.

Also, what happens on a typical Android device on resume with the
system clock? Is it set from an RTC like on a normal computer? Is it
synchronized to anything?
